How Do I Help Raise My Faction's Power

I'm fairly new to Factions, only been playing a few days, only been in a faction for a few hours, and I'd like to help raise our faction power, but I have no idea how, PVP helped I think, but I was with my Faction leader and I'm not raiding alone, are there other ways to help raise faction power?

The only way is to be on and not die. Doing /f p <name> will tell you how long until power reaches maximum.
