🏆 Last Man Standing Event
We are delighted to announce that there will be the classic KitPvP which we all know and love!
The zone will be manually moved, to avoid everyone being clustered up, and the event will start 2 hours before reset .
❓ What is LMS?
Last Man Standing (LMS) is an event we always run before a KitPvP reset. It is essentially a free-for-all/Team Deathmatch-styled game, where all players are competing to be the last player remaining! Access to commands such as: /spawn, /shop, /pv will be disabled, meaning that you cannot leave the arena, or buy any extra loot. There will be a shrinking border, make sure to stay inside the area, or else you will take massive damage from the border itself. Survive till the end to get the rewards! Once you die, you're out of the event. Carry on watching until someone wins!
💻 How can I play?
Everyone is welcome to participate in the event! To be part of it, simply jump down into the Arena before the event starts. Anyone who doesn't jump before the event starts will not be able to participate. Make sure you're there in time, all kitted up and ready to go! Staff will announce in chat once the event starts. Anyone still at spawn will be automatically TPd into the arena at the start and you might die instantly if you're not at your computer! Once you die, you will go into spectator mode for the rest of the Event, to cheer on your friends, or put off the enemy (politely)! Even if you want to spectate the event, you need to be there on time.
Changelog
The following are the most important features/modifications implemented toward this season's map and functions.
🌍New! Map

We're excited to show you our new KitPvP map and spawn area, inspired by an old favorite!
The new map has an old-style arena with challenges that will test even the best players.
We also have a new spawn area that acts as the main place to see all the game's features and crates, and meet other players to trade items.
We think our new KitPvP map and spawn area will make the game exciting and fun for everyone, whether you are just starting or have played for a long time.
🦒New! Pets

We are bringing back a feature we removed a few seasons ago, Pets.
There is nothing better than having a cuddly and adorable pet in your inventory whilst playing on our KitPvP server!
These adorable companions not only serve as loyal friends but also bestow unique and powerful bonuses upon their owners.
With a new roster of Pets coming this season you will never feel alone again.
The following pets have been added to KitPvP:
Bolt Pet
Phoenix Pet
Tarantula Pet
Gain Speed 4 for 4 seconds when activatedSet all enemies in a 7-block radius on fire when activated. When activated you will put nearby enemies in a cobweb and give them Slowness 4
Jailer Pet
Raven Pet
Nova Pet
When activated you will summon a jail around you for 10 seconds with a radius of 3 blocksDoubles drops from Cave mobs when activated.Deal 4% more damage on outposts when activated.
🍰New! Events

We will be releasing two more events that will run multiple times a day.
These events offer unique gameplay twists and opportunities for players to earn extra rewards.
The following 2 events have been added to KitPvP:
King of the Ladder
Lucky Draw
A pillar with ladders will be summoned to a random location on the map.

Stand on top of this pillar to earn points. After 10 minutes the top 3 players with the most points will win the event.
Collect lucky tickets dropped on the ground and return them to the ballot in the center of the pit. Other players can steal your tickets by killing you, but so can you! Do them dirty by cleaning up fights for maximum profit.

After 30 minutes of collecting the Lucky Draw will happen, the more tickets you have handed in, the higher the chance to win a big prize.
🏅 New! Mastery

Players can climb a ladder of mastery levels, which show how well they are doing in the game.
Each mastery level is split into smaller parts, showing more detailed progress.
🚩 Mastery Points.
Your mastery level is determined by your mastery points, which work like a ranked ELO system seen in other competitive games. This means your points change based on how you do in your fights—how many players you beat and the level of those players.
🧗‍♂️ Climb the ladder of Mastery
When you defeat a player, you gain mastery points, especially if they are ranked higher than you. If you lose, especially to someone ranked lower, you lose mastery points. This system encourages players to keep getting better at their skills and strategies to reach higher mastery levels.

🍀 New! Lucky Blocks

Lucky Blocks are special items blocks all over the map. These will spawn at all times, scattered across various locations.
These blocks give you different rewards that can make your equipment better.
The rewards depend on the tier of the Lucky Block—the higher the tier, the better the rewards.
👀 Keep your eyes open to find them.
Lucky Blocks can only be seen when you are close to them.
This makes finding them a surprise and encourages you to move around the map more.
Inside these blocks, you might find weapons, armor, or power-ups that can help you in battle.
Finding higher-tier blocks is especially good because they have better items.

⚔️ Updated! Damage Calculation

We've updated how we calculate damage, switching from a multiplicative system to an additive one.
This change aims to bring more balance to PvP combat.
You may see lower damage numbers initially, but this new approach will allow us to adjust and sustain a more consistent balance in damage output over time.
Now, the damage modifiers from weapons, pets, masks, and special sets won't stack to produce excessively high damage spikes. Instead, they are all pre-calculated to produce a single, combined damage multiplier.

🔮 Updated! Enchantments
We will be giving a small update to the custom enchantments at KitPvP.
The Plasma enchantment will be removed this season, and the Electrocute enchantment will make a return.
Next to this, we will be limiting the amount of enchantments that can be placed on an item to 6, including regular enchantments.
🔑Updated! Crates

We've updated our crate system to make things more exciting and transparent for you!
We've fine-tuned the odds and refreshed the rewards inside the crates.
👀 Insight into the chances.
Plus, to keep everything clear and upfront, you can now see the exact chances of getting each item from a crate.
This means no more guessing games; you'll know precisely what your chances are for snagging that item you've been eyeing.

🪂 Removed! Envoy Event

We've made some changes to our events lineup.
With the introduction of Lucky Blocks, which add exciting and dynamic ways to gain rewards during gameplay, we have decided to remove the Envoy Event.
The Lucky Blocks are a proper alternative that runs at any time, rather than waiting for the envoys to drop.

🚩 Misc. Updates & Changes
Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:
  • Added more information NPCs on the Spawn Island.
  • Updated some of the styling to be more in-line with other gamemodes.
  • Re-did some of the crate rewards.
  • Classes can not be used the first 4 days of the season.

What will I keep?
  • Purchased Ranks & Rank Upgrades
  • Purchased Perks
  • Won out crates commands/ranks
What will I lose?
  • Your claims and faction.
  • All items in your inventory and ender chest
  • Any currencies such as money and exp.
