Gameplay Rules - Bannable

Unfair Advantages 

Any client or modification that offers an advantage over another player can be considered illegal. This includes mouse modifications to alter your cps or keyboard modifications, such as macros or methods to allow you to perform actions while AFK. Any macro usage, including scripting, is prohibited.

If a modification or client is not explicitly listed as allowed, you can assume it is not. You are liable to punishment for using clients unapproved by an official staff member.

Vanilla gameplay features may be used as intended. This includes the toggle attack, destroy, sneak, sprint, use item, and place block controls.

• You may use these features in their default, unmodified form.
• You may not modify, enhance, or alter these features in any way to gain an advantage. This includes, but is not limited to:
  • Rebinding the toggle attack/destroy keys to allow higher cps or more consistent clicking than intended.
  • Using objects or external methods to hold down keys.
  • Altering the feature to continue functioning in scenarios where it would normally stop. (Hitting mobs/entities/air)

If the vanilla feature is modified in a way that causes it to behave differently from the default mechanics, it is not allowed, and staff may punish you.

Inappropriate Behavior

Our server is friendly to all ages. This means any inappropriate content is not allowed. This includes inappropriate item names, pet names, builds, team names, skins, capes, usernames, nicknames, and cosmetics. This is not a complete list; you should not create inappropriate content anywhere on our server, and you will be held liable if you do.

Links

Our chat filter will block most links. However, you will be banned if you attempt to send malicious links. This could include phishing links and inappropriate links that lead to explicit content such as violence, nudity, and swearing.

All other links should be strictly Snapcraft-related and follow all other rules.

Threats & Threatening Behavior

Any message or content that contains a threat or has the potential to be harmful is not allowed. This could consist of DDoSing, doxing, swatting, blackmailing, sharing personal information, spreading an IP, or other severe, malicious, threatening behavior.

Participating or covering for anyone committing these actions is against the rules. If there is evidence that you are aware that someone you're associated with is breaking these rules, you risk a punishment as well.

Alt Limits & Account Abuse 

You are restricted to a total of 3 accounts on our server. This limit is not per IP; it includes shared accounts, and any account you may use as your own. A shared account will be classified as your own. You are not allowed to use a VPN to evade this restriction. Accounts using a VPN are at risk of punishment.

If you have received a punishment on our server, you cannot use alternate accounts to evade the punishment you have been issued on one account. You risk receiving equal punishment on all accounts, if not an extended punishment for the evasion.

You may not abuse multiple alternate accounts. This could include stat boosting, afk grinding, ban evading on various occasions, or any other malicious usage of alternate accounts.

Bug Exploiting

If you become aware of an exploit or bug on our server, you should not take matters into your own hands to test it, learn about it, etc. You should immediately report it to a staff member and provide as much information as possible. If you’re needed to gather more information, you will be contacted again. You will be punished if you exploit a bug to your own or others' advantage.

Game Trading

Any deal that involves using real life currency or merchandise outside of our webstore is prohibited. This includes trading Snapcraft merchandise for PayPal, gift cards, Minecraft accounts, Lunar cosmetics, etc. 

Allowed: “I’m selling my loadout for a $20 gift card on snap” or “I’m selling my loadout for a rank upgrade on snap”

Not Allowed: “I’m selling my loadout for $20 PayPal” or “I’m selling my loadout for a lunar cosmetic.”

Scamming a player in a trade that involves a purchase through our store is prohibited. This applies across the entire network. The scammer will be punished regardless of which side of the deal they were on, whether they are not giving the in-game merchandise or not completing the deal's store purchase portion.

Scamming is not allowed on our entire server. If you wish to make the safest trade, we recommend the auction house or /trade. Alternatively, you may use a staff member as a middleman for any trade.

Chargeback

You may not replace, return, or receive a refund for any item/rank you purchase from our store. Once a purchase has been made, it is finalized. Completing a chargeback will result in your account being permanently blacklisted on our network.

Fake Cheating 

Performing actions that appear as if you are using an illegal client or modification, ultimately wasting staff's time.

Falsifying Evidence

Creating fake evidence and reporting it to get another player falsely punished. This may include manipulating a situation to appear as something it is not to get another player falsely punished.

Command Spam 

Sending a command so that five or more messages are sent in the chat. This could be sending /pay, or another command to another player multiple times, ultimately spamming their chat.

Misconduct 

Misconduct refers to the act of seeking inappropriate relationships with children, sexually harassing other players, soliciting or distributing porn, threatening revenge porn, sextortion, grooming, or other predatory behavior. This punishment may also be issued for other actions we deem unwelcome on our server.

Survival Rules - Bannable

Griefing 

If a player has made an effort to protect their land using a protection block, you may not:

• Alter or damage the surrounding areas.
  
• Claim land surrounding their base to interfere with them.
• Interfere with their gameplay, builds, or claims without their permission.

This rule will be enforced at the discretion of our staff members.

TP Killing & TP Trapping

Killing or trapping players through deception is not allowed. This includes:

• Misleading players to teleport to you under false pretenses and killing them.
  
• Creating traps or setups to kill players who teleport to you.
